On the palate, the small, nearly intact wild blueberries burst with flavor and add texture to the spread.

The pomegranate plays a supporting role aromatically but acts as an aromatic precursor to the blueberry and adds length on the palate. It also gives the blueberry a cleaner, fresher taste.

Suggested pairing: a freshly baked bagel and cream cheese (not essential but highly recommended)
