The bacon comes from the pork belly; depending on the specific part of the belly, it may be more or less fatty. If it is taken from the breast, it will be leaner.

The expertise of our farmers enables the production of higher-quality pork. At Les Fermes Valens, the pig farming practices carried out by our farmers result in higher-quality pork.

It is also in our workshops that our teams prepare the bacon. There, it is delicately smoked, deriving its unique flavor from a smoking process using two types of wood: maple and cherry.

With its golden, crispy texture and caramelized aftertaste, the bacon can be used in both savory dishes and desserts.
